Globally, Turkish Airlines fly to more locations than any other airline; and in March 2024 Melbourne became the newest port they would begin flying to. To celebrate this occasion, Turkish Airlines engaged Peanut Productions to plan and deliver their Inaugural Flight Lunch event. This event was to be attended by 150 guests including government representatives, tourism and aviation experts, all media networks, and the Chairman and Board of Turkish Airlines.
Due to the nature of the aviation industry, lead times can be short, and this was no exception. Our team had just three weeks to source a venue, ensure that bespoke assets were built, suppliers were engaged and the event could be fully planned. Due to the time difference between Melbourne and Istanbul, this planning also had to take place over an eight-hour time difference.
Through hard work and collaboration with all stakeholders, this event was delivered seamlessly regardless of the time pressures. We were able to bring to life:
Not only was our client very happy with the event, but we received glowing feedback from attendees on being able to deliver such a large and important event in such a short time frame. The event also looked wonderful on television, with coverage on all major networks’ nightly news.
