Through challenging times great opportunities emerge! 7-Eleven’s 4 day ‘Igniting my future’ conference is testament to this point. Utlising the most innovative virtual platform we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a lot) the Peanut team brought to life a powerful virtual conference for over 500 attendees across Australia.
Utlising the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s auditorium, a plenary stage was built with an additional 8 breakout stages throughout the room, creating 9 simultaneous video feeds being boadcast live during the event across multiple breakout rooms. On top of this another 68 breakout spaces were conceptualised and created on the virtual platform allowing attendees to easily navigate themselves through multiple sessions and virtual locations and in which they could engage and interact with one another and with Speakers via video.
A networking space was also created that allowed live video catch ups between colleagues and friends and strong tangible touch points established with event boxes sent out to every attendee. Within the boxes, smaller boxes were included that were opened at specific event moments across the four days to ensure many surprise and delight moments. Virtual is not necessarily a substitue but can be a powerful way in which to bring people together in sharing key business messaging
